CLEARING & FORWARDING AGENT SERVICES FOR DELIVERY IN COMMODITIES

Moreover increasing volumes of ‘Physical deliveries’ in commodities exchanges in

commodity exchanges have delivery centers. For example if a trader wants to
give/take physical delivery of Jeera/ Castor seed on NCDEX he would need the
above registrations in Gujarat; so is for a trader in Black Pepper/ Rubber or
Cardamom where he will need the above registrations in Kerala. These tax-related
requirements make it difficult for traders on MCX/ NCDEX to deal in physical
commodities especially in various out of state commodities.

- To facilitate the assaying / certification through the accredited agencies for the participants
- To facilitate the participants with respect to Funding Linkages, with various banking and financial institutions for finance for future trading.
- To facilitate Trading and Delivery: The accredited Commodity Multilink Points (CMPs**) will provide forward linkages for sale of the commodity, including facilities for participation on the futures and spot platforms.
- To provide holding services for the participants, who intend to keep the commodities in E-Platform (Electronic Holding of Physical Commodity)
